Executive Assistant/Project Manager
Virtual Position
Full Time/40 hours a week
We are seeking a high-performing and self-sufficient individual to be the assistant to the founder and CEO, as well as senior executives of a fast-paced high-technology, social-networking new venture. This multi-faceted position will be involved in all aspects of the company including service offering definition and delivery, marketing, sales, accounting, finance and G&A. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who is excited by the prospect of working as part of a team in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. This role is structured as a growth opportunity for those individuals interested in learning the nuts and bolts of a young organization. This position requires an exceptional person who is excited to be part of the fast pace and many facets an active CEO and his senior team face and help them to accomplish day-to-day work. Most work can be done virtually from home. Some local travel required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support company marketing efforts including preparing marketing materials, speaking proposals, writing blogs, finding speakers, etc.
Support the sales process including scheduling follow-ups with prospects and compiling and preparing customer proposals and presentations
Support service offering definition and delivery by preparing materials like descriptions and presentations
Assist in company fundraising by helping develop financial projections and other materials
Assist with bookkeeping using QuickBooks
Maintain and organize contact database
Provide administrative support including but not limited to travel arrangements, calendar and meeting management, correspondence, and handling of confidential information
Miscellaneous administrative projects and support
The ideal candidate possesses or has the ability to develop
Bachelor’s degree preferably in business
Knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong organizational skills. Must be an excellent planner.
Be able to easily manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Comfortable working with an Executive Team
Willing to ask questions
Demonstrated ability in computer skills – proficiency in MS Office Suite, QuickBooks, social communication and social media
Strong writing and verbal communication skills

You must be an outstanding, energetic, and self-motivated sales and business leader with a demonstrated track record of delivering results, excited to be a key member of the team crafting the company’s offerings and sales targets. Knowledge of online advertising, sponsorship, and underwriter sales is critical to success.Essential Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Understand sales opportunities and likely targets
Build pipeline and meet sales quota
Provide both strategic and tactical sales leadership
Build client relationships and referral network (channel partners/referrals).
Support promotional activities (travel to trade shows, conferences, etc).
Travel to potential clients and client sites within assigned geography to conduct sales presentations, software demonstrations, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
At least 5+ years of proven success selling EHR Solutions
Organize, motivate and develop a highly effective sales organization
Create a management process which identifies opportunities, trends, and competitive threats
Experience selling online media
Health Information Technology (HIT) experience (strongly preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Excellent Communication skills, oral and written.
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
